Travelling Dress's First Stop: CEBU, PHILIPPINES
Lots of First:
1. First airplane flight
2. First time to leave Luzon
3. First "Faith in Humanity Restored" moment
Cebu is definitely a beautiful island with lots of dried mangoes, dried danggit and pusit. Though Cebu City looks like Manila, their rich and beautiful islands cannot be found anywhere else.
That points us to our Destination: BANTAYAN ISLAND
Bantayan Island is <3.
Do I need to say more? Crystal clear water, living sea creatures everywhere, beautiful sunrise, breathtaking sunset, almost paradise indeed. A perfect relaxation formula.
But what made this trip extra memorable is the realization that "Humans are still humane after all".
A week before our trip, Typhoon Yolanda nearly swept Tacloban and Bantayan Island, Cebu.
It was all over the news. The news itself was already very painful, what more to see it for real... Destroyed houses, uprooted trees, no electricity, no network signal...
But guess what they have plenty of? HOPE
And where did they get that? FROM THE PEOPLE WHO CARES
Even if there's no television, the children's laughters are more entertaining.
No network signal means more personal communication and comforting from each other.
No electricity but the bright smiles of the people will make your
day.
Indeed, an AWESOME experience in such a GREAT place. Til next destination! (:

about the travelling dress
BondEEE's travelling dress materialized on September 30, 2012 when April, Nina and Ish visited Forever 21 in SM North Edsa The Block. With the approval of the president, Hazel, this delicate piece of clothing became the group's connection to one another. It was a perfect fit to everyone!
This dress shall travel miles as April, Hazel, Ish and Nina go to exciting places! All the emotions and picturesque scenery shall be stitched on the travelling dress through this blog.
